Summer Time- Montreal

We decided to fly to Montreal this summer for a freind's wedding. Turns out they called off the wedding (after we bought our tickets), so we went anyways... there are still a few good reasons to go back :)

We had never flown with Payton before, so we thought it was a great idea to fly with Payton and Carter!!! What were we thinking? Oh ya, FREE!!! Kids under 2 are free, so we thought we'd take advantage of this.

To be honest, we didn't know what to expect so we planned for the worst and hoped for the best. After a few little hiccups and lugging all our bags, carseats, strollers, snacks and children through the airport, past security and onto the plane things turned out quite well. I have to give a shout out to the WestJet flight attendants and a few select passengers. They moved around and arranged it so that we could all sit together in the same row and have a seat for Payton.

I didn't take many pictures as we were focussed on entertaining Payton for the 4 hour flight and keeping Carter fed and help while he slept (he was as good as gold, and Payton as good as silver).

I don't know who was more tired, TJ and I or the kids. Turns out it was the kids. They slept while TJ and I had a run-a-round with the rental car. All I have to say, is make sure when you book a rental car that they are lacated at the airport and not that they will come get you in a shuttle. The Orange Julius is a great place to visit, but NOT pick up a rental car from!!!

We were glad to be on land again and start the nice part of our trip. We werre able to see a few people who we love dearly. We wish we had more time to visit others. Here are some pictures of people we were fortunate enough to see.
*If you don't see your picturte here it's because we didn't get one, NOT because we don't love you!*

We were also lucky enough to go to Ben & Dom's cabin in the Eastern Townships. The weather was great, but the lake was a little cold. Payton LOVED playing outside... oh do I ever miss our cabin!!!

Payton had a great time playing with her cousins, and by herself.

Great Fun!
